For the past century and into the next century, Sertoma’s purpose has been and will be to serve our communities and to improve the lives of those who need our help and to meet the needs of communities through volunteer service. Our vision is to create communities of change under common leadership and with a common voice that will serve the many in need. Sertoma’s mission is to improve the quality of life today, through education and support, for those at risk or impacted by hearing loss. We support & sponsor community projects to further freedom and democracy, local youth, and many other community-based needs as determined by each individual club.
Sertoma’s 4th of July Celebration is the perfect event for bringing our communities and citizens together to celebrate the freedom and democracy that brings us together. With a concert in the evening, and the Gulf Coast’s Largest Fireworks Display over Pensacola Bay.
Since 1989, the local area Sertoma Clubs have worked together on the 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks Presentation for the enjoyment of all Escambia County residents and visitors. As the costs have continued to grow, our support has dwindled. If we are going to continue to organize this event, we need your help. We want to continue organizing this event for very long time!
